Terms & Conditions

Eligible members include the Primary Member listed in enrollment and any additional household members listed as Secondary Members.

As of March 20, 2020, new membership is $5 per month unless another schedule is arranged in writing or by recorded agreement.

The membership fee applies to the membership only and is not credited toward merchandise or services.

Membership grants access to purchase available merchandise and, when active at the time of passing, access to Family Assurance Support and discounted product pricing.

Legacy Assurance states that it is not a funeral director or funeral home and does not sell preneed contracts.

Merchandise and services are available only with active membership and are subject to state availability, shipping limits, product availability, and staffing availability.

Locked-in pricing applies to one casket, one vault, one headstone, one urn, or one of each combination at the pricing in effect when membership began, provided membership is active at the time of passing.

Accepted merchandise payment methods include credit or debit card, cashier's check, money order, or a completed assignment from a life insurance policy.

Returns are limited to shipping damage or guaranteed-arrival failures where such a guarantee is made in writing.

The agreement begins upon receipt of the first monthly payment and continues until ended by mutual consent, unilateral request with notice, death of all eligible members, dissolution of the company, or two consecutive missed payments.

Notice may be delivered in writing or by recording at Legacy Assurance's discretion. The agreement also outlines how payor changes and payment-method changes may be approved.

Updates to merchandise, pricing, and terms may be posted on the Legacy Assurance website and communicated through contact information on file.

Monthly fees are not refunded unless Legacy Assurance determines a fee was incorrectly assessed or charged after termination.

Electronic actions such as keypad, pad, mouse, or similar input may constitute legal acceptance of the agreement.

The agreement states that personal information is collected and used for account maintenance, payment processing, legal compliance, and services related to membership, with access restricted to appropriate personnel.
